Playgroup and Rising 5s

We care for children from 2 years 6 months to 4 years plus. Rising 5s is on Wednesdays and is for children who will be going to school the following September.

Places go very quickly for Rising 5s so if you would like to put your child's name down for September 2016 please call us on 01453 542489 or email us on mailhoptonschoolhouse@yahoo.co.uk.

Hopton School House offers a welcoming environment for children to participate in an excellent range of activities offered.

Did you know that if you need wrap around care for your child that we can offer seamless care from 07:30 to 18:00?

The varied programmeincludes arts, sports and recreational activities and we follow the EYFS in all our planning. See the links below for more information on the EYFS.

Planning is done over a two week period, ensuring that all the children in our care not only experience the topic but have a chance to fully understand it and be stretched in their knowledge and abilities.

To see how we use the EYFS to help our planning see the document below.

In addition, there is provision for children who simply wish to relax or play quietly.  We aim to provide a secure, safe and stimulating environment for all children attending the School House, meeting the needs of individual children and promoting their welfare.

The School House has two gardens that provide safe and child friendly play areas so that we can additionally offer outdoor activities. Our newly landscaped front garden offers children the choice of whether they would like to be inside or out, our bigger rear garden, which is separated a little from our setting, offers a small climbing frame, pirate ship, slide, sand pit, outdoor play equipment and a play house to ensure the weather doesn't prevent outdoor play.
